Moonset

Sorry about the lack of posts, cold weather and laziness has gotten the best of me.

Here's a timelapse of the almost full moon setting over top of the sculpture by Lake Ontario at Queen's University. This area is a popular hang out spot for first years in the daytime, but is eerily silent at night.

Kingston Quarry

Took some time out of my Saturday evening and took this beautiful timelapse of Kingston.

Sorry about the lack of posts I broke both my arms and was unable to do timelapses for a while.

Queen's University: "Skywalk"

This is one of my favourite places on campus, which I like to call the "skywalk". Beautiful 360 degree views.

HDR - Lake Ontario

So it's been a while since my last post, I've been busy with school and haven't produced a time lapse that I liked for a month or so.

Hopefully this video will make up for that. I've been aware of HDR (high dymanic range) photograph for quite a while, but only recently did I realize that my camera was capable of it and that it could be incorporated into time lapse. Here's my first test of HDR imaging and HDR time lapses.

Queen's University: Grant Hall

After a meeting with the Queen's Camera Club, I had time to kill so I headed over to Grant Hall to shoot some star trails as I had been meaning to get the shot for a few months now. I hope to shoot more of these types of shots around campus soon!

Queen's Engineering class of 2015's grease pole climb. They had an official climb time of: 2 hours, 9 minutes and 6 seconds.

Thank you to Derrick Dodgson, EngSoc, FREC Committee and Asad Chishti for making this time lapse possible

Queen's University Move In Day

It was nice to see the university filled with the confused face of a new year of frosh. It was busy and chaotic by Victoria Hall so I helped out a few of the confused little froshies. It definitely seemed better organized than last year though!
